Agriventure Day Camp (born 2007-2012) is a summer day camp for children ages 6 and up and runs in one week sessions for July and August.  Camp program hours are from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm with pick up/drop off between 8 and 5:15.

Agriventure JR (born 2013) is a popular offering with limited enrollment.  It is available all sessions children who are 6 yrs old (or entering Grade 1 in September).  This is an opportunity for younger children who perhaps feels “too old” to do daycare in the summer now that they have had an experience of school!  We have a limited number of spaces for this age group as we offer a higher staff to camper ratio.

Our program runs on a schedule that balances activities where the child chooses, with set rotations on their assigned team and time where they play together as a whole camp.

Agriventure JR- 1/2 day (born 2013/2014 This is our “intro to camp” program specifically designed with the abilities and needs of students who have completed JK in mind!  It is a 1/2 day program from 12:30-4:30, and will have a ECE trained instructor running the program with a lower child to instructor ratio.

Leaders In Training (LIT’s) is our Leadership camp for children entering Grade 7, 8 & 9 (born 2005-2007).  It is a program with the goals of helping to build individual leadership skills, teach responsibility all while having fun at camp!

Junior Leaders Program (born in 2005 or earlier) is a popular opportunity and we only take a maximum of 5 students per week .  It is a volunteer opportunity for students who are looking to gain job experience, volunteer hours and have fun doing it!  If your child completed LITs, they can be a Jr Leader when entering Grade 9.  If not, they need to have completed Grade 9 to be eligible.

We have an exceptional staff of University students or recent graduates to mentor and support your child while giving them an amazing and fun experience when here. Campers enjoy a variety of hands-on learning activities including gardening; harvesting produce; cooking with Steckle Homestead recipes; playing games; crafting and getting to know and take care of our farm animals.

There will be some new friends, new fun, and more all to be experienced in 2019, and great new chances to get your hands dirty while having a farm adventure!
