Save the date for October 27th, 2019! 🙂 updates will come in the late Summer!
2018 event is sold out! Phew, thanks for the love!
Used as a Halloween alternative in some places, this is a fun dress rehearsal, and is PERFECT for your younger boos! Little legs might have a hard time going to a lot of houses, and the weather isn’t usually on our side at night. A Trunk or Treat is where you park your car in a lot, and kids get to travel from trunk to trunk to collect candy. 50 houses in an hour isn’t easy, but it’s quick and fun when you take most of the distance away! With the safety of a small space, kids can run and participate in all the fun! This is great way to get the Halloween experience in some daylight, so you can stay home and hand out candy as a family at night, or just hit up the neighbours and not feel pressured to keep going.
Our fourth annual Steckle Heritage Farm Trunk or Treat is going to be held on Sunday October 28th 2018 between 3 and 5 pm, after naps, and before dinner. This event is limited to the first 50 cars that register. There is no kiddo age limit.. all may participate! 🙂 Sign up is only $5 per vehicle, and we will send out an email with a final kid count as we get closer to the day. Please note that you must provide a treat for each child in attendance. Just like you would on Halloween night, but instead of coming to your door, we’re coming to your car! 🙂 There will be prizes for the best decorated trunks, as voted by YOU! This event is parking lot only. The washrooms will be open for use, but the rest of the farm is closed up! That said… who knows if an animal or two might wander down to show off their costumes?!
New for 2018! Professional facepainting by Busy Bees can be booked before the event begins, so you can plan to complete your costume here, for a special event only price of $5 a kiddo! There will also be warm drinks for sale, and activities set up for the down time at the end of the treating. 🙂
